Just a brief thought on Bishop Budde’s sermon at the prayer service after the inauguration.
I find the responses to the sermon to be drably predictable. Lefties applauded her for her “courage,” while the right-wingers denounced her as a “false prophet” and a “fake bishop.”
Unimaginative drivel, devoid of nuance…as if reading off a script. #DoBetter, my people.
There is something eerily Baudrillardian about how empty, mechanical, formulaic this all is…as if everything in the news were manufactured, like it was all just a big psyop.
