Cracks in pomo events have developed a rep for being discourse heavy, featuring discussion panels filled with esoteric jargon and labyrinthine logic.
Yet in honor of the second volume of the zine, we are swapping out Regine for Stefon.
We are banning all talk. Our launch party will consist only of dancing, drinking, and smoking—which in themselves will serve as a metadiscourse that will crack postmodernity more than any silly discussion or reading will.
*This party will also double as the anniversary of the launch of Stephen's (the curator) existence (his bday).*
-We'll be at The Rose on W 25th from 7:30 pm-midnight...come whenever you want for as long as you want.
-1 drink minimum per guest (if you keep halal, then buy a drink for a pal).
-Suggested donation of $10 to defray the cost using Venmo or PayPal (linked in the RSVP). Feel free to give more or less, or nothing (just lie and click that you paid…we won’t judge).
