by all means enjoy yourself...just observing that much fewer nyc gays seem to be interested in Pride than 10 years ago...and that an overwhelming amount of corporate reps and str8 girls are making pride about themselves. but if hope you do have fun
I've lived in NYC for 20 years and the community that I'm a part of still seems to be just as engaged in Pride festivities as ever . Not necessarily the actual Pride Parade but events like The Drag March, the Dyke March. Spending the day at Jacob Riis on Pride Sunday where HUNDREDS of queers gather is a GREAT alternative to the more corporate leaning Sunday Pride Parade. Any rate, happy pride darling. BEING QUEER IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE.
