That’s awesome. Thanks for your comment. Don’t read my story, but at least read Borges—preferably in Spanish. Borges uses that phrase in his story and takes some poetic license to translate it as “Ser ser retratado.”
“Retratado” translates into “portrayed” in English, just like “retrato” means a “portrait.”
